About me

International Vocal Coach & Speaker
Member of the board of directors and authorised coach for Vocology in Practice, I currently share my teaching between the south of the UK, and Hollywood.

Co-founder and co-host of the world’s leading singing podcast on iTunes: The Naked Vocalist.

Pop Choir Organisation: Love Soul Choir
Singing for Mental Health Organisation – Tempo Wellbeing Ltd
Charity Fundraising Organisation – The Body Lounge Foundation

The Technique

My foundation in vocal technique came from being a qualified Speech Level Singing (SLS) Instructor. Although many of these methods and principles still hold true, just as vocal science has evolved, so has my approach. You can find out more about this on the lessons page.

TV Appearances

My performance groups have led me to the BBC where I have worked with celebrity choir-master Gareth Malone on his show ‘The Choir’ and ‘Choir for Heroes’ in 2016. I was also lucky enough to work with Channel 5’s show ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ in 2010. As a singer, I was most honoured to perform for HRH The Prince of Wales at St James Palace (2010). Other performance credits include ITV’s ‘Dancing on Ice’ and ‘Popstar to Operastar’, Alexander O’Neal, The Drifters and Lemar.

With the help of my businesses, projects and non-profit organisation (more info here), I aim to make positive change by directly helping others develop through singing and optimising well-being. On-going goals include challenging the vocal education curriculum within the UK, making a difference to the lives of people in the UK and Africa, and having some fun along the way.
